Within Welfare Gävle, our workplace is located at Jägargatan 2. Here, about 80 employees and five unit managers work. We work in teams and sit in open office landscapes with access to several meeting rooms and conference rooms. The building has a café and a reception. All work is done on-site, and our clients also come here. There are good bus connections and many nice cycling paths.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of change leader, your task is to support individuals who, for various reasons, cannot support themselves and therefore apply for financial assistance. Together with the individual, you work to create pathways towards an independent life with self-sufficiency through work, studies, or other compensation. Through active interventions and motivational and change work, you create conditions for the individual to take the next step in their development journey. The work consists of motivation-enhancing and guiding interventions both individually and in groups. Collaboration with colleagues and other relevant actors is crucial for success in the assignment. You are responsible for a number of clients, and your task is to drive the process together with the individual to achieve the goal of self-sufficiency. You will work closely with your colleagues in a high-performing and tight team in your unit. Your mission is to drive an individualized and goal-oriented process together with the client. Through coaching and conversations, you provide the tools and insights that the client needs to take control of their future and achieve their goals.

Your tasks include:

• Investigating the client's resources and identifying any obstacles
• Creating an individually tailored self-sufficiency plan towards work, education, or other compensation
• Supporting the client in developing and strengthening their skills and knowledge, and in collaboration with other services in the municipality, region, and state, ensuring that the client receives interventions regarding their health and social needs.
• Exploring various educational opportunities, finding suitable internships or workplaces, or other compensation in collaboration with healthcare.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic degree relevant to the profession, such as behavioral science, social work, human resources, pedagogy, or another academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the position. We consider it an advantage if you have one year of experience in similar work and if you have a B driver's license and driving experience.

To succeed in the role, you have:

• A coaching approach.
• The ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others, helping them to develop and feel good.
• The ability to create an open dialogue and adapt your actions based on different situations, naturally building trusting relationships where others feel safe.
• The ability to prioritize what needs to be prioritized, being effective and using resources to achieve the best results.
• A systematic, methodical, and reliable approach is natural for you, and as a person, you easily focus on the client's needs and achieve good customer satisfaction.
• Experience in holding presentations, lectures, and training, adapting these according to the audience's needs and feedback.
