Within Welfare Gävle, our workplace is located at Jägargatan 2. Here, about 80 employees and five unit managers work. We work in teams and sit in an open office landscape with access to several meeting and conference rooms. The building has a café and a reception. All work is done on-site, and our clients come here as well. There are good bus connections and many nice cycling paths.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Change Leader focusing on sickness compensation, you will assess our clients' work ability and clarify the conditions for social assistance clients regarding sickness or activity compensation and support them in applying for this.

Your responsibilities include:

• Engaging in dialogue with clients
• Gathering information, assessing, and making decisions regarding the client's work ability
• Motivating and supporting clients
• Assisting the client with solid documentation for the Social Insurance Agency's investigation and decisions regarding compensation
• Maintaining close collaboration with colleagues, external partners in healthcare, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Employment Service.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree such as a social worker, behavioral scientist with a pedagogical focus, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or other academic degree that the employer deems relevant for the position
• Experience in similar work for at least 1 year
• The ability to carefully analyze and assess various types of data to draw well-considered conclusions and create effective solutions.

It is advantageous if you have experience in handling sickness and activity compensation or sickness benefits, and if you have a B driver's license and driving experience.
