Description

Are you passionate about strategic HR work and want to make a real difference in a developing organization? We are now looking for an HR strategist who wants to help drive HR work forward.

Ljusdal Municipality is now seeking an HR strategist for the central HR unit. The position is established and constitutes an important part of the municipality's long-term work to strengthen the employer brand, competence, and leadership. In this role, you will work closely with the HR manager and other HR colleagues to develop and advance HR work. The focus of the assignment is on competence supply and management and leadership development, two areas that are crucial for the municipality's future ability to meet future needs. Workplace environment issues are also a natural part of the whole and are included as an important perspective in strategic HR work. The content of the position can be partially adapted based on your skills and experience, but the need for competence supply and management and leadership development is particularly great.

As an HR strategist with us, you combine an overarching and long-term perspective with some operational work, as we believe it is of great importance to have operational knowledge in the strategic work. We believe that close collaboration with the operations creates the best conditions for sustainable solutions.

With us, you have the opportunity to work within an organization that is undergoing change, a chance to broaden your knowledge, develop within HR, and contribute your expertise to the organization's development. Together, we will strengthen and develop support for our managers in Ljusdal Municipality while also developing HR work into the future.

Responsibilities

In the role of HR strategist, you will work broadly within the HR area with a focus on developing structures, working methods, and processes that strengthen the organization over time. A central part of the assignment is to drive and develop the municipality's work with competence supply together with the operations – from analyzing the current situation and future needs to developing strategies and concrete measures.

You also have an important role in developing the municipality's management and leadership development. This may involve developing and further enhancing programs, structures, and working methods that strengthen managers in their assignments and contribute to sustainable and clear leadership throughout the organization.

Workplace environment issues run like a common thread through the assignment, and you contribute with a strategic and development-oriented perspective in collaboration with managers, HR colleagues, and other functions.

You will primarily have the opportunity to drive development and change work, initiate projects, develop and revise governing documents, and work with analysis and follow-up.

The role also includes being a qualified support to the HR manager, among other things by preparing materials and cases. The assignment is varied and provides ample room for personal responsibility and influence.

Together with your HR consultant colleagues, you will also be responsible for providing advice and support in the entire personnel area. With us, there is an opportunity to both broaden and deepen your competence within HR.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role, we assess that you, in combination with an academic degree in Human Resources (or in another area that the employer deems equivalent), have at least 5 years of experience working with qualified HR work at both strategic and operational levels.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role within a larger organization, where you have successfully driven development work towards set goals with good results.

You are used to working independently and have demonstrated drive and innovative ability. As a person, you are flexible and responsive to the needs of the operations, you are unpretentious and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships and create a positive collaborative climate.

You are skilled at prioritizing and show good judgment in your decisions and actions. You always complete your assignments. Your motivation does not wane if you encounter obstacles along the way; instead, you work effectively until you reach your end goal. You have a very good analytical ability and are skilled at visualizing, engaging in dialogue, and finding solutions.

During the selection process, a balanced assessment will be made, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. To manage the assignment, you also need good knowledge of the Office suite and good communication skills, where you express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

Other

Ljusdal Municipality values the qualities that gender balance and ethnic and cultural diversity bring to the organization. We actively work to create an equal workplace.

We offer flexible working hours, the possibility of vacation exchange, wellness benefits, and some opportunity for remote work.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date of 2026-03-01 or by agreement. Interviews are planned to be conducted during weeks 7-8. Ongoing selection and interviews may occur during the application period.
