Kärnhuset is a service within the social services department aimed at adults who need extensive support and help to move closer to self-sufficiency and an independent life. The service offers work-oriented rehabilitation.

The goal is to strengthen the individual's self-esteem, motivation, creativity, and the opportunity to eventually become self-sufficient. The service offers assessments of work conditions, work ability assessments, work training, internships, and guidance towards independent work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new colleague to our team at Kärnhuset! Here, there is an opportunity for a fun and varied job, where you help create important conditions for participants to live an independent, participatory, and meaningful life. Together with your colleagues, you will receive and work motivatingly, solution-oriented, and engagingly with the individuals enrolled in the service. The work involves supporting individuals towards self-sufficiency and conducting work ability assessments. Kärnhuset works to ensure that each participant in the service receives meaningful engagement by utilizing the individual's strengths and interests. The service aims to increase the individual's opportunity for an independent life.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, a university degree in fields such as behavioral science, rehabilitation science, occupational therapy, social work, or another relevant area is required. Experience in work-oriented rehabilitation, preferably from social services, the Social Insurance Agency, the Employment Service, or occupational health care is desirable. Good ability to communicate in speech and writing is essential. A B driver's license is required for the service. We also prefer that you have knowledge of BIP/SKAPA and training in Spetsas work ability assessment instruments (AWP, AWC, WRI, WIES).

You should be open to a flexible and creative working method and be able to work independently. It is also important that you are used to collaborating with others. As a person, you are responsible, attentive, and have high social competence, as well as an ability to build trusting relationships. You believe in people's ability to develop and have a desire to support and motivate people in a change process. You contribute to continuous improvements and use your knowledge and skills for the benefit of the entire group and the service. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
