Communicator at Sandbacka Science Park

Sandbacka Science Park in Sandviken is one of Sweden's approximately 30 science parks and the only one in Gävleborg. We help companies challenge their business ideas that contribute to the development of a sustainable society - through innovation. Sandbacka Science Park is organizationally based in Sandviken municipality but also works on behalf of other financiers, primarily through project funding, such as Region Gävleborg, Vinnova, and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.

As Gävleborg's meeting place for academia, business, and the public sector, we strengthen the innovation and competitiveness of the region's small and medium-sized enterprises. We create forums for people who want to make sustainable business and for collaborations that truly make an impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for an initiative-taking and creative communicator who wants to help create relevant and engaging content that strengthens our brand. You have a sense of design and the ability to convey inspiring stories through communication.

About the role

As a communicator at Sandbacka Science Park, you will work both operationally and strategically with varying tasks. You will create target group-adapted content for digital channels, produce newsletters, and other communication materials such as presentations, printed materials, and press releases.

You will be the responsible communicator for one or more of our development projects where you, in close collaboration with project leaders and project teams, contribute to achieving set project goals. You will be responsible for disseminating the project's work and results to relevant target groups, promoting the project's activities, and providing communicative support to the project team. The role entails significant personal responsibility and allows room to challenge and develop our communication work.

Main tasks:

• Plan and produce target group-adapted content for digital channels (this includes text production, photo/video, graphic design)
• Create visibility for our development projects and disseminate their work and results to relevant target groups
• Produce communication materials such as printed materials, newsletters, and presentations in accordance with our visual identity
• Follow up and analyze communication efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

About you

You are creative, initiative-taking, and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others. You have a sense of design and an understanding that all our communication must align with our brand. As a person, you are stimulated by varied work and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot happening. You have an unpretentious and structured working style and skills that make you confident in the role of independently creating inspiring and creative content.

You have an education in communication, marketing, or equivalent work experience. You have a very good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written form in Swedish and English.

We would like you to have:

• experience working with communication in a broad role.
• experience working with the Adobe suite, Office package, and Canva.
• experience working with web publishing tools and CRM systems.
• experience working with social media.
