BUP Assessment is Hiring a Medical Secretary

BUP Assessment is an outpatient clinic that works with psychiatric assessments and investigations for children and adolescents aged 0-17 years, as well as providing emergency services during the day. It is a well-functioning unit with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The clinic employs a multidisciplinary team that includes not only three medical secretaries but also doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, caregivers, special educators, and speech therapists.

As one of our medical secretaries is on parental leave, we are now looking for a new team member for a temporary position. We welcome your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The medical secretary has varied tasks and often acts as a link between team members, the unit manager, patients, relatives, and other services.

As a medical secretary with us, you will work with:

• writing medical records
• booking and calling patients
• registrations in Cosmic
• handling 1177 and administrative services in Min vård Gävleborg
• handling mail
• ordering materials
• staffing the reception.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, engaged, and attentive in interactions with others, and who has good collaboration skills. You are flexible with a solution-focused approach and see opportunities in changes. You take initiative and can plan and structure your work effectively, solving problems independently as they arise, and have the ability to adjust your priorities when necessary. Personal suitability is of great importance.

In the role of medical secretary, you should:

• be a trained medical secretary (YH education or healthcare documentation education 60-90 credits)
• have good knowledge of Office programs
• have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
