Temporary Position as Medical Secretary at Region Gävleborg
Now you, who are studying to become a medical secretary or are already trained, have the opportunity to work temporarily with us at Region Gävleborg, a workplace where you can grow and develop.
We are a team of about 24 medical secretaries who staff and support several units within Region Gävleborg. Our area of operation covers the emergency department, internal medicine, cardiology, and paramedicine. As part of our team, you will gain valuable experience in a stimulating work environment where we work together to ensure effective and high-quality healthcare documentation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The tasks may vary depending on which department you work in. The emergency department operates every day of the week, while work in medicine occurs Monday to Friday.
As a medical secretary with us, you will work with:
- healthcare documentation
- registration in healthcare systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in the role of medical secretary, it is important that you are communicative, attentive, and enjoy working in a team. We are looking for someone who is committed, meticulous, and has a strong sense of service.
In the role of medical secretary, you have:
- a completed LIA 1 placement from your ongoing training to become a medical secretary, or you are already a qualified medical secretary
- good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
