As a YKB instructor, you play a key role in ensuring that drivers in the transport sector maintain the highest standards of safety, legality, and professionalism. We offer a dynamic and developing work environment where pedagogy, quality, and industry knowledge are at the center.

About the job

We are looking for someone with a solid background in the transport industry. This could include experience as:

• Professional truck/bus driver
• Trainer or supervisor in the industry

Your practical experience allows you to contribute real-world examples in teaching and create relevance for the participants.

Your responsibilities

To educate in Professional Competence Certificates in all its forms.

The YKB training is divided into a basic training (140 or 280 hours) and a continuing education (35 hours).

• Ability to explain complex regulations clearly
• Creates a safe, secure, and quality educational environment
• Can adapt teaching to the needs and levels of participants
• Contributes to a positive and professional atmosphere in the classroom

Who are you?

You need to have an interest in people and learning in various forms.

This is important for the role

• You must have at least 2 years of documented experience in the profession within freight traffic.
• At least 6 months of documented experience in adult education (within the last 5 years) or post-secondary pedagogical education equivalent to at least 6 months of full-time studies.

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience as a teacher/instructor in driving license training for the relevant vehicles (C/D license)
• Experience as a truck or bus driver
