Medical Secretary for Surgery in Gävle

The surgical department has a cross-county mission and has clinics and wards in both Gävle and Hudiksvall. We are looking for a medical secretary based in Gävle.

The surgery department in Gävle consists of three care wards, a surgical outpatient clinic, and an endoscopy clinic. We conduct both emergency and planned activities within the specialties of urology, plastic surgery, upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery, breast surgery, and endocrine surgery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop the operations with us. Together with other medical secretaries, you will be responsible for the patient-related administrative work at the clinic. Our medical secretaries work in different teams focused on these specialties. As a medical secretary with us, you will play an important role in the administrative work surrounding our patients, have a dynamic and developing work role, and be a natural part of an engaged workgroup. You will also be an important colleague in the team of doctors, nurses, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants.

As a medical secretary with us, you will work with:

• care documentation and registration in various healthcare systems
• diagnosis classification
• quality registers
• supervising our medical secretary students
• all other secretarial tasks within both outpatient and inpatient care.
