Quality Coordinator in Paramedicine
Paramedicine encompasses six care units with a county-wide mission and has about 200 employees. Here, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists work. Paramedicine offers treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention to maintain, restore, and provide conditions for good health with an uninterrupted care chain for our residents. Paramedicine works on behalf of other parts of the healthcare system, which requires good collaboration and a holistic perspective regarding the patient's needs. The position has a flexible location, and you can be based in either Gävle or Hudiksvall.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a quality coordinator in paramedicine, you have a central role in coordinating, driving, and developing work with quality and patient safety. The mission aims to ensure systematic and ongoing improvement of care processes and patient safety. In this role, you will work closely with managers and employees, contributing to the organization achieving set goals and developing sustainably. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing operational descriptions and management systems as well as goal management for quality and patient safety. You will be part of the staff together with the operations manager, executive secretary, and care developer.
Main Responsibilities
- drive quality and patient safety work by following up on quality goals, deviations, and improvement measures
- educate and support managers and employees in patient safety and quality issues
- be responsible for document structure and governing documents
- be involved in the follow-up, development, and analysis of the operational plan
- be responsible for producing, developing, and analyzing statistics and compiling materials for reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in the role, the following is required:
- higher education in healthcare or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer.
If you have a higher education in a paramedical profession, it is an advantage for the position. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience working as a quality coordinator and/or care developer.
