The municipal adult education in Motala includes activities at Basic and Upper Secondary levels, Municipal adult education in Swedish for immigrants, Adapted education for adults, commissioned education, and distance higher education. The courses are organized both in the municipality's own management and in collaboration with other educational providers. Teaching in our own management is conducted at Carlsunds Education Center, Platengymnasiet, and Ekenäs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for substitute teachers for our SFI activities in Motala during weeks 24-28. SFI is a cohesive qualified language education aimed at those who have Swedish as a second language, and students are offered 15 hours of teaching per week. During weeks 24 to 28, you will conduct and plan teaching for your classes. We offer all courses in our own management for our students, which means we are looking for substitute teachers for all study paths and courses. You will receive an introduction during the first week from the regular teacher. You will conduct teaching based on applicable curricula and teaching materials with support from the overall planning that the regular teacher has developed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect you to have an ongoing or completed teacher education with certification and degree or other relevant pedagogical education. You have experience teaching adult students who have Swedish as a second language. You have very good language skills in Swedish.

You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and of people's different conditions. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
