The Education Administration is one of Mjölby Municipality's six administrations and is responsible for preschool, primary school, secondary school, adapted primary and secondary school, and adult education. With around 1000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning and work towards the direction of "high academic results in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great importance on working closely with the operations through regular dialogue and support to school leaders and teachers based on the governance chain.

Västra Harg is currently the smallest school in the municipality. It is located in a fantastic environment beautifully situated by Västra Harg Lake, about 15 minutes from Mantorp and 15 minutes from Mjölby. We read age-integrated as the school only has about 30 students. During the current school year, the students are divided into three classes; F, 1-3, and 4-6. The staff works in close collaboration. The motto is that all students are everyone's students, and this permeates the operations.

We work in a smaller context with a large portion of solution focus, humility, knowledge, and warmth. Here, everyone's contribution is important! We have high expectations of both staff and students. We value strong security and high goal fulfillment. We collaborate with our sister school Veta School as both schools are led by the same principal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the teaching assistant involves working as a support person for students throughout the school day, both in teaching, between lessons (e.g., breaks, in the cafeteria), and in the after-school program.

You collaborate with the school's various professionals to support and stimulate students' learning and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a 3-year high school education in the child and leisure program or vocational training as a teaching assistant.

Vocational training as a teaching assistant is an advantage. Experience in a similar role is also an advantage.

A driver's license (B) is necessary as Västra Harg lacks public transport.
