Your Responsibilities

Your starting point as a preschool teacher is to have the overall pedagogical responsibility. You lead and distribute the work within the team and actively contribute to our learning organization by creating and participating in collegial learning.

Together with your team, you plan, teach, document, and evaluate the activities based on the preschool curriculum and our goal-oriented processes. To succeed in your role, you have set aside planning time each week, both individually and together with your team. You also participate in our pedagogical meetings (preschool-PUT) with the deputy principal.

As a preschool teacher with us, you promote each child's development by creating curiosity and a desire to learn. You work with an exploratory approach where the children's interests and needs guide the playful teaching.

Your Workplace

The preschool area Lambohov 2 consists of six preschools with a rich variety. We stretch geographically from the modern Vallastaden to the rural idyll of Skeda Udde. Our units vary in size from small preschools with one department to units with three departments. This breadth gives us a dynamic and the opportunity to offer different types of educational environments.

Who We Are Looking For

Primarily, we are looking for someone with a preschool teacher license. Secondly, we are looking for someone with a diploma from a preschool teacher education program. Alternatively, you are at the end of your education to become a preschool teacher.

It is a requirement that you have experience working with children in a curriculum-driven preschool through practice, as an employee, or voluntarily. It is advantageous if you have worked for at least one year in a curriculum-driven preschool where you have worked with planning and teaching based on the curriculum.

You have a good communicative ability in both spoken and written Swedish. This is necessary for you to organize and carry out the work so that the child receives support in their language and communication development according to the curriculum (Lpfö18). You are responsible for ensuring that each child can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way.

In your role as a preschool teacher, you create good relationships and collaborate well with children, colleagues, guardians, and other contacts in the community that are part of your professional role. You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to them in a responsive manner in teaching and the everyday life of the preschool. You lead the work with both children and colleagues through motivation, engagement, and participation. The role also involves working with applicable goals and quality standards for the preschool together with your colleagues.
