Who are we?

Ektorpsskolan is a school for everyone, where all meet regardless of needs and conditions. Approximately 300 students attend the primary school and about 50 students in the adapted primary school in grades 7-9. We have around 70 employees in a team organization with clear assignments. Our vision is for all students and staff to feel great joy and enthusiasm at Ektorpsskolan. We aim to create a safe learning environment where the desire to learn is in focus, and where young people and adults meet each other with respect. We adapt the learning environment and teaching to each student's conditions and needs.

Your tasks

This spring, we are looking for someone who can complement our operations with your specific skills in wood and metal craft as well as technology. The position includes teaching in the adapted primary school's subjects of craft and technology, as well as teaching in the primary school's subject of craft.

You will be part of a working team in the adapted primary school and in a subject team together with other craft teachers, and you will also be a mentor in a class together with at least one colleague.

Who are you?

We are looking for a qualified teacher in wood and metal craft as well as technology.

You are engaged in your work and strive to create an optimal school environment where students are stimulated to learn and develop. You are accustomed to handling various digital tools and use them as part of your daily pedagogical work.

You have good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to create good relationships through your mentoring role with students, parents, and colleagues, as we work closely with homes. In your interactions with individuals and groups, you have a salutogenic approach and primarily focus on the strengths you see.

You are part of a working team and subject team, as well as a mentor in a class together with at least one colleague. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and following up on teaching. The role also includes documenting the student's knowledge progression.

As a mentor, you will follow your mentees' knowledge development and study situation as a whole. You are engaged in your work and strive to create an optimal school environment where students are stimulated to learn and develop.

You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
