Choir Leader Wanted for Spring 2026 in a Newly Started Choir in Linköping

About the Position:

Hello!

We will be starting choirs across Sweden this spring and are looking for cheerful and dedicated choir leaders for our Musical Choirs. Are you interested in leading a choir?

Our choirs are for everyone, completely without auditions, and are aimed at adults who want to sing and share their interest with others.

Songs are already prepared with harmonies, recordings, lyrics, sheet music, etc., allowing you to focus solely on taking care of the members on site without worrying about preparations.

Who are you?

You love working with people and are driven to help individuals dare to do more and believe in themselves. You believe that singing can be a path to well-being and gladly support people wherever they are in their singing development. You believe in the power of choral singing and its ability to unite people.

We believe you always come with a smile and understand that when you take on students, this may be their best moment of the whole week. We believe you have the insight not to get stuck on individual harmonies but instead let the joy of singing flow in the room.

You have an education as a singing teacher or equivalent.

Who are we?

VocalLife has led various types of singing activities for over 10 years, primarily in Lund but also in cities such as Malmö, Helsingborg, etc., and is now expanding across Sweden. We love to unite people through song.

We know that when people sing together, we create a better and healthier society that benefits both the singer and those around them.

Moreover, in an increasingly digital world, places that unite people are some of the most important things there are.

We love to help people grow through the community of song.

Compensation and Future:

We prefer that you have a business and can invoice us, but we can also create a temporary position based on hours if that suits you better.

If you want to lead multiple choirs in your area, this could also be an opportunity.

We hope for a long-term collaboration. Therefore, we want to create the possibility for you, if desired, to eventually change our agreement to a permanent position and also add singing lessons, vocal ensembles, group singing, etc., in your area if that is of interest. This is something we can discuss based on your wishes and our possibilities and see what solutions we can find together.
