Mark Combat School (MSS) is looking for a Teacher in Military English
The role of the Mark Combat School (MSS) is to create conditions together with other parts of the army to ensure that the school can fulfill its assigned tasks in the best possible way, both nationally and internationally. MSS also handles tasks for the entire Armed Forces, such as the development and procurement of soldier-carried equipment, firearms, and support weapons. Your workplace is of international top class when it comes to combat training facilities.
We are looking for someone with a burning interest in education. If you have that, this is the perfect position for you, as you will significantly improve the Armed Forces while being a role model for our younger colleagues.
As a teacher, you will be part of the education department and primarily support the training of professional officers and reserve officers. In the education department, we have gathered all the specialized competencies needed for the Mark Combat School's program-based education and professional and position courses (YBK). The education department currently has about 15 employees, each with their area of expertise.
Main Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the education (planning, implementation, and evaluation) of officers in military English
- Integrate military English into other training, including both classroom environments and field conditions
- Be responsible for the development of the subject of military English within the Mark Combat School, as well as in collaboration with actors within the Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence University, etc.
- Support the main process of the Mark Combat School with subject matter expertise in the field
Qualifications
- Academic degree with English as the main subject, equivalent to at least a bachelor's degree
- Practical experience in teaching English
- Experience in planning and conducting training together with other teachers and working in teams
- Driver's license for passenger cars is required (B license, manual)

Employment form: permanent, the Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
