Who are we?

Vrinneviskolan is a school located on the border between Hageby and Navestad, close to Vrinneviskogen. The school was inaugurated in 2020 when the entire F-6 and playground were completed. Vrinneviskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school with about 280 students.

The classrooms have an adapted learning environment and are equipped with smartboards, document cameras, and sound equalization systems. Students also have access to computers. Vrinneviskolan is a multicultural school and a school for everyone.

The operations are characterized by safety, well-being, and joy at work, where the student is at the center. The teaching is adapted to a language and knowledge-developing approach.

We have an active values-based work that is based on respect and pleasant interactions. All students should feel included, and the operations should be characterized by participation. The teachers are positive, ambitious, and competent, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to maintaining high quality.

Your tasks

As a teacher in the leisure home with us, you will be part of a work team and work in one of our three leisure home departments.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate the operations at the leisure home together with your colleagues.

In addition to your work at the leisure home, you will be responsible for break activities together with other colleagues at the leisure home.

You will work on adapting the teaching for the students and actively work with outdoor pedagogy.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher with a focus on leisure home. We would like you to have experience working in leisure homes with younger children. You are well-versed in the school’s governing documents and implement them in your daily work.

We would also like you to be multilingual as Vrinneviskolan is a multicultural school and that outdoor pedagogy is important to you. You are skilled at planning your work and have a clear leadership and student perspective with competence in NPF.

You see opportunities in changes and are happy to take the initiative in your work. We are looking for someone who supports students and colleagues in their learning and performance and who contributes to a creative and inspiring learning environment.

As a person, you are secure and attentive with the ability to create trusting relationships with both children and guardians as well as colleagues. You have pedagogical insight where you adapt your approach and communication according to the individual and situation.

You thrive in days that do not always go as planned and can adjust to changing circumstances during the workday.

You have the ability to create engagement and participation and are driven by being part of creating something new.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
