Who are we?

Silverdansen School is a F-3 school, with adapted primary school years 1-6 and an associated leisure center. The school is located in Navestad, close to the forest and public transport, with around 260 students attending. Silverdansen is part of Norrköping's hearing track, offering inclusive and tailored pedagogy in acoustically adapted premises with access to technical aids.

We are now looking for an engaged leisure teacher who wants to be part of our team. The leisure center consists of four age-appropriate departments.

Your Responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you collaborate with your colleagues to provide students with an educational and meaningful experience at the leisure center. You plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching based on the curriculum and meet the students' needs.

You will be part of a department during the school day and collaborate with teachers to support students in their learning. Together with your colleagues in the leisure center, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the leisure activities.

You always have a student focus and actively participate in co-planning and collegial learning with your colleagues. You contribute actively to the school's quality and development work.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed leisure teacher who is well-versed in the school's governing documents. We view positively if you have experience working with students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.

As a person, you are pedagogical and attentive, creating participation in teaching by focusing on the student's learning and safety. You are skilled at building positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and you adapt your approach based on the individual and the situation.

You are engaged and creative in creating meaningful activities at the leisure center that are based on the curriculum as well as the children's needs and wishes. Since we work with children from diverse backgrounds, we see that you have a good cultural awareness.

We also believe that you thrive in a dynamic environment and can maintain a calm and positive attitude even in stressful situations.

The position requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
