Operations

The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools and an adapted primary school, with a total of about 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

The adapted primary school unit (grades 1-9) is located at Marieberg School. The school has a focus on subject areas and subjects. There is also after-school care for students in grades 1-6. The vision of the adapted primary school is to be a modern, open, proud, and innovative meeting place for sustainable development in learning, health, and democracy with an eye to the future. Everyone should feel confidence in their own abilities and contribute to joy at work, engagement, and hope for the future characterizing our operations. Our students are the primary driving force of the operation, as their development stimulates the constant search for the best teaching methods for each individual.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a trained teaching assistant? If you are curious about pedagogical work or want to work extra alongside your studies, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you! We are looking for more engaged and flexible employees who can step in as substitutes at short notice when our regular staff is not present. Your contribution will be invaluable to our operations and will help create a safe and inspiring environment for our students.

The tasks are varied and diverse throughout the workday. Your mission is to be available as support for the students in the classroom throughout the school day and after-school care. This may include participating in/leading indoor and outdoor activities during the school day, during breaks, and in after-school activities, assisting with dressing and undressing, and during meals. During lesson time, you will also support and help students develop towards the school's goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are responsible, flexible, and curious. Your work should be characterized by a student perspective where you see students as competent and where the student's development and learning are always in focus. It is advantageous if you have previous skills and experience working in schools and after-school care with students, as well as specific experience working with children in the adapted primary school.
