As a substitute, you have the opportunity to develop your professional role, gain more work experience, and be part of creating joyful, educational, and safe environments for all children based on clear leadership.

We offer you as a substitute work on short or longer assignments which can give you the opportunity to combine with studies or other activities.

Job Description

As a substitute in preschool, you replace absent staff or are there as a resource and support in the operations. Together with the team, you will be responsible for the children's day at preschool. You lead and support the children in their daily routines, assist with dressing and undressing, lead activities, and engage in their play. You may also be tasked with preparing various meals and performing routines related to that, such as setting the table, washing dishes, and wiping tables. Part of the day is spent outdoors where your task is to supervise and be present in the children's activities. You may also meet parents during drop-off and pick-up.

Through the booking system Time Care Pool, you choose which days and times you want to be available for work. You will be booked for work via SMS, which means you should be easy to reach by mobile.

Qualifications

Our need for substitutes is for our preschools outside central Söderköping. Since public transport does not always match the requested working hours, a driver's license and car are required unless you can otherwise reach the workplace. We have preschools in Mogata, Sankt Anna, Västra Husby, Snöveltorp, and Östra Ryd.

We are looking for you who are a trained childcare worker, studying to become a childcare worker/preschool teacher, and/or have experience working with children. As a substitute, you have initiative and are responsible. You have a positive attitude towards your work and enjoy meeting people. You can quickly adapt to new environments, are flexible, and have an easy time building good relationships. As a substitute, you are actively present with the children and responsive to their needs.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language. Knowledge of other languages may be an advantage. To work as a substitute with us, you must be at least 18 years old.
