Who are we?

Råsslaskolan is a well-functioning school for grades 4-9, beautifully located in Kolmården, just outside Norrköping, with good train and bus connections. Here at the school, 510 students and 40 teachers work together with other school staff to create a safe environment that encourages learning.

We are organized into grade working teams and divided into a middle school and a high school. These stages collaborate closely as a school regarding prioritized goals, educational efforts, support structures, pedagogical forums, subject meetings, and exchanges between working teams. The school is led by the principal along with the vice principal.

In the academic year 24/25, 93% of our students (grades 4-9) received passing grades in mathematics. 93% of our ninth graders graduated with eligibility for upper secondary school.

In the spring of 2021, we moved into a brand new school building where grades 6-9 are housed with new specialized classrooms.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for teaching and planning mathematics for 3 classes in grade 8. The position also includes teaching alongside another mathematics teacher in a different grade. This is a way to best support our students. You will also receive support from another mathematics teacher during some of your mathematics lessons. Mentorship in grade 8 is included in the position.

You will follow up on students' development and goal fulfillment in collaboration with the working team and the school's student health team.

You will actively participate in the school's and working team's various joint tasks, contributing your own ideas, experiences, and engagement.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach mathematics in grades 7-9. You have experience working as a mathematics teacher, and we would also like you to have experience working as a mentor.

You are a clear leader and have an easy time building good relationships and trust with parents, students, and colleagues.

You see school development as a natural part of your work and feel confident in your teaching role. You have a desire to develop in your work and are well-versed in governing documents and have experience working with digital tools.

You are calm and stable and have a flexible working style where you easily adapt to changing circumstances and take great responsibility for your tasks. You have the ability to follow and assess students' development of knowledge and skills in a varied way and collaborate with the student to develop these.

You have good Swedish skills, both spoken and written.
