Matteus School is an F-6 school with an adapted primary school and associated leisure center located centrally in Norrköping right by Folkparken. The proximity to the transport center makes it easy to reach us, both by train, bus, and tram.

In our adapted primary school, we have extensive experience in meeting the needs of students with intellectual disabilities as well as other types of disabilities/variations, and we are proud of our dedicated and professional team that works to make a difference every day. Your responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you will have overall responsibility for planning, implementing, and scheduling the leisure center activities at our adapted primary school together with your colleagues in the profession. You will closely collaborate with other colleagues and lead interesting and developing activities for children and youth.

Your assignment also extends over the students' school day. With a focus on strengthening the students' personal and social development, you will be an important part of a creative and engaged team that puts students first.

Who are you?

You have a teaching license with qualifications to teach in leisure centers. In addition, we would like you to have experience or education in working with students with intellectual disabilities. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in an adapted primary school, as the operations are specific and require special competence.

You have a good ability to plan and organize the activities, and preferably experience in scheduling where you have utilized your structure and analytical skills.

You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are an educational leader who engages, creates safety, and builds trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues.
