We are looking for a substitute teacher for Björsäter School!

Björsäter School is located in a beautiful environment surrounded by forests, lakes, and fields in the northern part of Åtvidaberg Municipality. Approximately 70 students attend the school in mixed-age teaching groups, and there is also an after-school program designed to complement the school both in terms of time and content. Our goal and focus are to work towards increased goal fulfillment and improved school attendance among students.

Your responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, follow-up, and assessment for students in grades 4-6. The position includes being the responsible class teacher, collaborating with other class teachers, the student health team, and guardians to support each student in reaching their full potential based on their circumstances. Active participation in other meetings for collegial collaboration and playground supervision is also part of the job.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a certified teacher, preferably with qualifications in social studies, Swedish, English, and mathematics for grades 4-6. We would also like you to have experience teaching in middle school.

To succeed in this role, we see that you are calm and secure and have an easy time collaborating. You have a good understanding of how individuals acquire knowledge and their different circumstances. You show interest by actively listening and providing feedback. We also see that you have the ability to create good relationships with others by being attentive, showing empathy, and respect. Additionally, we see that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

About the employment

The position is a substitute role with a 100% employment rate. Start date is according to agreement and ends on 2026-06-17, with the possibility of extension.
