The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools as well as an adapted primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

Hällaskolan is a newly renovated secondary school (grades 7-9) located in the scenic Borensberg by the Göta Canal and the banks of Motala Stream. We all work closely with our students to challenge, support, and coach them in their development. The school's atmosphere is family-like with high comfort and safety factors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teaching assistant, you primarily work with the following areas:

• Support for students: Assist students with special needs, such as reading and writing difficulties or psychosocial challenges.
• Help with teaching: Prevent and manage issues such as concentration problems and assist with individual solutions.
• Pedagogical support: Work together with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
• These tasks may vary depending on the specific student's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is: brave, committed, and has the ability to collaborate in an open and trusting manner. You find it easy to take an overarching perspective and think strategically while being driven to work towards set goals and achieve results. You are also motivated by a desire to see opportunities for improvement with a focus on students' goal fulfillment and equity.
