The primary school/adapted primary school is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools and an adapted primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

Södra skolan is a F–6 school with an attached after-school program. The school has three preschool classes and two classes per grade from grade 1 to grade 6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum.

Through teaching, you work to stimulate students' development and offer meaningful leisure time. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' development through varied methods based on their individual circumstances. In your teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in big and small things. You work based on proven experience and research and strive to ensure that students have the best possible development, both academically and socially. You carefully document students' performance and development. You maintain contact and collaborate with guardians and other actors outside the school and inform guardians about students' development. Through systematic quality work, you work to ensure that set goals are achieved. Together with your team, you develop the school's mission and continuously promote collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree and teaching certification as a teacher in after-school care.

It is desirable if you have experience teaching in schools and after-school care. You should be a clear, positive leader who easily builds good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have the ability to see all students and consider their individual circumstances and contribute to learning throughout the day. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
