Who are we?

Parkskolan is a -3 school in Skärblacka, within commuting distance to Norrköping, Linköping, and Finspång. We have about 200 students and 30 staff members. The school's nature-oriented location provides excellent opportunities for varied learning environments; there are forests, watercourses, a swimming pool, and an ice rink within walking distance.

The grades are two parallel classes, and staff work closely together in teams linked to each grade. This close collaboration fosters a pedagogical drive in the operations where students' learning and well-being are the focus, as well as providing valuable support for individual educators.

We have a joint development effort around differentiated instruction and language-developing methods. All teachers at the school's after-school program have regular meetings regarding the development work, and there is scheduled planning time for the entire team each week. In your grade, all educators collaborate around all students and work flexibly to allocate resources in the best possible way.

The school has a student health team consisting of the principal, special education teacher, resource teacher, counselor, speech therapist, and school nurse. The student health team supports the working teams. We also have a safety team that works proactively with safety issues and aims for high student attendance.

Your responsibilities

You plan and implement activities in the after-school program, primarily in one grade but collaborate with all educators in the after-school program for joint activities.

You contribute to the development work of the after-school program where we work with language-enhancing activities, cooperative learning, relational leadership, and differentiation.

Depending on your qualifications, there may be an opportunity to teach a school subject, and we would like you to have expertise in music.

You are present in the school environment as support in teaching. You contribute to developing the teaching at the school, share good experiences, and serve as a role model for students and colleagues.

You raise and address issues concerning students' learning and development. You have a positive attitude and good reflective and analytical skills.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher in after-school programs who is well-versed in the school's governing documents. It is an advantage if you have the qualification to teach music.

You have an interest and drive to develop students' learning. You are clear in your leadership and have a positive attitude and good willingness to collaborate.

You have a coaching approach in your pedagogy with students and are skilled at solving challenges that may arise during a school day.

As a person, you are independent and have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work. You are flexible and can handle the changes that occur in daily work.

You have a good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and other professionals inside and outside the school.
