Who are we?

Komvux Norrköping has established itself at Bråvallagymnasiet and is now conducting industrial training in its own right in collaboration with Bråvallagymnasiet, which is an educational center for vocational training.

Komvux Norrköping is now also launching transport training at Bråvalla in 2026, starting with professional drivers in goods handling (CE license) and later in the spring, professional drivers in passenger transport (D license).

Bråvalla is a creative and modern school filled with the latest technology. The school has about 750 students in a wide range of vocational training programs.

We are now looking for a teacher in Swedish as a second language (SVA) who wants to help build the combined training program for bus drivers together with our vocational teachers in bus training.

Your tasks

Your tasks are to plan, implement, and develop teaching for students' knowledge development in Swedish as a second language at the basic level in combination with vocational subjects together with colleagues.

You will be part of the ongoing development work while starting something new to provide our students with the best vocational training.

The work takes place in teacher teams with responsibilities and powers, and a well-adapted assignment that aims to increase engagement, efficiency, and the dissemination of new pedagogical ideas.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified in Swedish as a second language at the basic level who wants to teach our students in the combined training program in the vocational direction of transport, passenger transport.

You have several years of teaching experience and experience with combined training in SVA and vocational training.

You want to be part of starting something new, you are involved in building up the education.

As a person, you are attentive and see each student and their individual needs. You create a good relationship with the students in your meetings.

We emphasize your ability to collaborate, flexibility, and your professional knowledge. To succeed in the role, we see that you have good pedagogical and planning skills as well as a positive attitude.

You plan the teaching together with colleagues and enjoy passing on your knowledge and profession to the students at the school. You motivate others and create engagement and participation.

You are a knowledge resource and try to find new ways together with your colleagues to promote students' learning. You remain motivated despite setbacks.

You consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and are particularly skilled at creating a good learning environment with a calm and safe atmosphere for your students.

We see that you have good computer skills and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
