Operations

Preschool is part of the Education Administration. We work for an equitable preschool where all children's right to education is in focus, clarifying professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare workers. Our vision is that the preschool should support every child regardless of their circumstances so that everyone is given the opportunity to develop towards the goals. Our goal is to offer supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets the needs of individuals and society. Continuous professional development and networking take place with us. We have a comprehensive professional development plan and five study days per year. The Preschool Operations have their own special educators. All our preschools have work clothes for both indoor and outdoor use, a step in our work to increase attendance in the operations.

The Preschool Unit Bråta Hagar

is a newly built preschool that will start its operations in March. It has 4 older children's departments and four younger children's departments. It currently consists of the preschools Rödluvan, Dansäter, and Hällalund, which will merge in March and be replaced by the newly opened preschool Bråta Hagar.

The educators at the preschools work to ensure that every child develops openness, respect, and responsibility for each other. All our preschools are close to forests and nature.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in a younger children's department and be part of a team with two other educators, where you will work with your assignment based on the curriculum. You will also collaborate with the other educators in the preschool's other younger children's departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree and is a licensed preschool teacher with a good understanding of the preschool's educational mission. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of leading colleagues and being responsible for leading and driving processes in development and change work.

You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You easily empathize with others, listen, understand, and show consideration, and you have the interest, ability, and willingness to help others. Furthermore, you adapt and find quick solutions through an unpretentious focus on common goals.

You who apply:

• have an organizational ability with a holistic view for the child's best interest in the entire preschool.
• are confident in your leadership role and find it easy to collaborate and support colleagues in challenging situations.
• have knowledge of how indoor and outdoor learning environments can create good conditions for teaching and learning with play as the foundation.
• create a trusting and close collaboration with guardians.
• have good knowledge of documentation and systematic quality work.

We also see that your work is characterized by a clear respect for the individual and for everyone's equal value. You have a positive view of the preschool's mission, you are present and engaged, inspiring, and work flexibly as different children require different working methods and approaches.
