The area of high school has a varied operation aimed at youth. Our units are characterized by good quality, proximity, and that we actively work to create safe and enriching meetings between the people in the operations. Our goal is for our students and participants to leave the education equipped with the opportunity to choose their future and look back on their study time with pride.

In the adapted high school, we provide our students with a solid foundation for further studies, seeking employment, and being able to participate actively in community life. Furthermore, the adapted high school offers opportunities for personal development. We offer three national programs as well as the individual program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a substitute teacher who can teach our students when the need for more staff arises. Our students are taught in smaller groups and with several people present in the classroom. In the adapted high school, students with intellectual disabilities attend. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and evaluating the teaching based on the curriculum and subject plan. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment and support, motivate, and stimulate students' knowledge development through varied working methods based on their individual conditions. In your teaching, you make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities, encouraging creativity and curiosity, and making it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is an advantage if you have a teaching degree for primary or secondary school. You may also be a retired teacher or a teacher student and preferably have experience working with individuals with disabilities.

You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and are comfortable adapting your message according to the recipient and situation. You find it easy to create and maintain relationships and meet others in a responsive, flexible, and respectful manner.

You work in a structured and goal-oriented way, plan and organize your work well, follow clear processes, and ensure that what you start is also completed within set time frames.
