Who are we?

The mission of the Competence Supply Office is to highlight the future workforce and be an active part in solving Norrköping's competence supply needs. With our shared resources and professional expertise, we are a central part both internally and externally for societal growth and individual development.

Competence supply is the word that unites us in our mission across all the activities we work within at our office. We have about 400 employees responsible for social assistance according to the Social Services Act, municipal labor market measures, budget and debt counseling, and adult education from SFI to higher vocational education.

Adult education offers flexible high-quality education with varying study formats both within SFI, basic and upper secondary level, healthcare and social care education, as well as Komvux as adapted education. We are about 200 teachers who teach at S:t Olofsskolan, Källvindsskolan, and Vrinnevipark.

This summer we are looking for substitute teachers for SFI at S:t Olofsskolan.

Your tasks

As a substitute teacher with us, you will work together with other teachers at SFI to create good conditions for students' development.

Based on the syllabus and other governing documents, you will adapt the teaching to the students. The work involves meeting individuals in various life situations and with different educational backgrounds.

Individualized education from both an organizational and pedagogical perspective is our hallmark. We conduct both day and evening classes.

Study formats vary from full-time, part-time, and distance learning. We are constantly developing our operations to meet each student's needs adequately.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a primary school teacher education. A specialization in Swedish as a second language is an advantage. Experience working with multilingual students and experience within adult education is also advantageous.

We seek someone who is confident in themselves and skilled at building positive and trusting relationships with both students and colleagues as well as other partners.

You have good pedagogical skills where you adapt your communication based on the individual and the situation.

You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

You value diversity and understand how background and cultural experiences can affect both a group and an individual.

Digital competence is required as some teaching will be digital and teaching materials are available digitally.
