Job Description

We are now offering a position for teaching within the Construction and Civil Engineering program. You will be responsible for planning and conducting teaching both in the school's premises and in collaboration with APL placements. An important part of the job is the contact with students who are out on workplace-based learning (APL), which means you will have ongoing collaboration with the business community within the construction industry. You also have a mentoring role where you follow the students' studies, are aware of their needs, and support them in achieving their graduation goals. The teaching is conducted at the high school level.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified vocational teacher in construction and civil engineering. Industry experience is a given for the position. You should be passionate about entrepreneurship, outgoing and social, with a broad network within a geographical area nearby. You are proactive, solution-focused, structured, and inspiring with a strong personal commitment to learning. As a teacher, you are attentive and want to guide students into the future. You have a good ability to communicate the goals of the teaching and clarify your assessment for the students, as well as the ability to adapt your working methods to the target group. We expect you to collaborate, drive, and develop the teaching together with your colleagues in the program team.

Requirements: Experience from the industry and experience in education. A criminal record extract is requested before employment is offered.
