In Motala municipality, culture should be a driving force in societal development and stimulate cultural diversity. Many different actors are responsible for the combined cultural offerings in Motala municipality. Here, commercial, publicly funded, and non-profit forces mix. Cultural associations and organizers are supported with grants and advice.

The activities of the cultural school include teaching in aesthetic subjects. We are located in our own premises in Folkets Hus and at the Cultural Academy, both centrally located in Motala, as well as at many of the municipality's schools. The cultural school offers a broad education in music, dance, and theater. Here, there is a creative faculty that works ensemble-oriented and across subject boundaries. The cultural school also conducts extensive outreach activities, and our students often participate in events and various arrangements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching string instruments, primarily violin/viola. The position includes teaching both individually and in groups, from beginners to the oldest students in our Chamber Orchestra. Teaching in El Sistema groups is included. Working hours are varied, and evening/weekend work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have a university-level education or other education that the employer finds equivalent.

We are looking for someone who;

• Organizes and plans their work well, works according to a clear process where they complete what they have started. You set deadlines and meet them.
• Works well with other people. You relate to them in a responsive and smooth way. You can adapt and find solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal.
• You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and of people's different conditions. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
