Who are we?

Hagaskolan is located in Nordantill and is a primary school for students in grades 4–9 with approximately 450 students and 65 staff members. We have 20 classes, of which 12 are music classes focused on choir singing. Norrköping's music classes collaborate and perform various concerts with the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and other actors.

In addition to students' academic development, we also actively work on students' personal and social development. We make students' learning visible, provide feedback, and formative assessment. We plan and implement differentiated teaching. We work on language and knowledge development to maximize the potential of all our students.

Your Responsibilities

As a teacher with a special education assignment at Hagaskolan, you are a key member of the school's competent student health team. The team currently consists of a special educator, a counselor, a school nurse, and four special teachers. We work together based on our different professions to ensure that our students and student groups reach their full potential academically and socially.

You will teach students who need special support primarily in smaller groups but also individually. You will work preventively and promote the development of pedagogical work to meet all students' needs.

You are an important support for the school's educators based on your profession. You participate in subject teams and work teams and contribute your knowledge and perspective. You lead meetings with guardians and other actors.

Who are you?

We are looking for a certified teacher in Swedish for grades 7-9 with several years of experience in special education teaching. If you also have a teaching certification for grades 4–6 and experience working with these age groups, we see it as a positive.

You have experience in student health team work and are well acquainted with conducting assessments, investigations, and writing materials for action plans. You have knowledge of and can apply methods to assess children's and students' language, writing, and reading development. We view training in various types of assessment materials positively. Special education training with a focus on reading and writing is an advantage.

We would like you to have experience and interest in working with students in a smaller teaching group.

You work to establish and maintain good and trusting relationships, have excellent collaboration skills, and are humble in your contacts. You are an asset in student health work and are well-informed about current research and development work in your field. Collaboration is something you value, and you enjoy working in teams where you strive together towards common goals.

You have the ability to analyze and develop successful teaching so that all students are given the opportunity to develop as far as possible according to educational goals. You have a relational perspective with the students' best interests in focus.

You have a natural ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere when meeting students, colleagues, school management, and guardians, and you easily build strong and trusting relationships. Communication is one of your strengths, both verbally and in writing.

You have the ability to work effectively and in a structured manner. You are confident in working independently and take responsibility for your tasks while planning, organizing, and prioritizing effectively, ensuring that all processes are completed with good quality.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
