Your Responsibilities

We are looking for engaged and competent substitutes who want to help shape the future for our children and youth. As a substitute, you may work as a childcare worker or teacher when regular staff are absent. Depending on your specific role, your responsibilities may include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching and/or carefully pedagogical work that promotes the development and learning of children and students. This may involve creating a stimulating learning environment, adapting activities to individual needs, and following up on their progress.

You will collaborate with colleagues to create a holistic view of the student's development and well-being. You contribute to a safe environment for our students.

As a substitute, you will be booked as needed via a digital booking system, which means you need to thrive in a job that requires flexibility.

The Workplace

Skeda and Slaka School is a F–6 school in Linköping Municipality that operates at two physical schools: Skeda School and Slaka School.

The school places great emphasis on safety, community, and a desire to learn. Teaching is guided by the curriculum (Lgr 22) and is adapted to each student's conditions and needs. Active work is done with social cooperation, care for the individual, and a positive learning environment.

The operations include after-school care for students before and after school hours.

Who You Are

As a substitute, it is required that you have completed upper secondary education.

We see that you have a good ability to create relationships and collaborate well with children, students, colleagues, and guardians. You can notice the student's needs and participate in adapting teaching to the individual, group, context, and situation. Contribute to making the student active in their work. You express trust in the student's abilities and participate in creating a safe learning environment based on respect and cooperation.

The role of a substitute also means that you, together with your colleagues, will work based on goals and guidelines for preschool/school.
