The Preschool Operations is part of the Education Administration. We work for an equitable preschool where every child's right to education is in focus, clarifying professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare workers. Our vision is that the preschool should support every child regardless of their circumstances so that everyone has the opportunity to develop towards the goals. Our aim is to offer supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets the needs of individuals and society. With us, professional development and networking occur continuously. We have a cohesive overarching professional development plan and five study days per year. The Preschool Operations have their own special educators. All our preschools have work clothes, both for indoor and outdoor use, as part of our efforts to increase attendance in the operations.

We are now looking for substitute teachers for the preschool areas North and South.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute teacher, you are expected to be able to start working on short notice at various times during the preschool's opening hours, which are from 06:00 to 18:00. We are looking for you who want to help develop the preschool's operations based on Lpfö-18, the preschool curriculum. You are inspired by children's curiosity and creativity and see both the group's and the environment's significance for learning. You have a good ability to create relationships with both children, guardians, and colleagues. You are clear and at the same time receptive in your way of communicating and have a warm and welcoming demeanor. In consultation with your colleagues, you have the ability to adapt and prioritize your working methods according to the needs of the operations and the best interests of the children.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal qualifications:

• We are looking for someone with a high school education in childcare or other education that the employer considers equivalent for the assignment.
• A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is a plus as some of our preschools are located outside the Motala urban area.
• You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

Personal qualifications:

• You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when necessary. You have the ability to separate the issue from the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.
• You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and of people's different circumstances. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.

In connection with employment, a criminal record extract and a personal certificate are required.
