About the role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.
QualificationsHigh school education, child and leisure program, care and nursing program, or post-secondary education such as nursing assistant, support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university degree in a relevant field.
Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience in documentation.
Experience in care and support work.
Driver's license (B).
Experience in psychiatry, psychotic disorders.
Training in AAC and/or low-arousal responses, NPF, IF.
Experience working with complex support needs and comorbidity.
Employment type: fixed-term employment Working hours: 50-100% Working time: 06:00-23:00 with sleeping on-call duty. Start date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start shortly and work for most of the summer. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
