The Work and Integration Unit is part of the Individual and Family Care within the Care and Social Services Department. The unit's main task is to get people who are furthest from the labor market into education, work, or other activities with the goal of achieving self-sufficiency. The unit currently has four internal operations, including a first-step activity and a cafeteria that enable work rehabilitation, work training, and practice before the person is ready for placement in a regular workplace within the municipality. Within the unit, occupational therapists, labor market caseworkers, labor market investigators, supervisors, mentors, coordinators for internal operations, and administrators work.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinator for Work and Integration

As a coordinator, you lead and distribute the daily work at the unit. You support employees in the participant process and are responsible for ensuring that the operations are conducted in accordance with our goals and guidelines. Furthermore, you ensure that the work is carried out in a way that focuses on the work line and self-sufficiency, and that methods and approaches are developed to support employees in this regard.

The role includes monitoring the external environment and staying updated on changes and developments affecting both the individual work group and the operations as a whole. The role may also involve some project management as our operations conduct several large projects. Under the unit manager, you are responsible for working together with the coordinators for our internal operations and the work group to ensure that steering documents, such as guidelines and routines, are updated in significant areas.

On behalf of the unit manager, you quality-assure the participant work at the individual and operational levels, and contribute together with colleagues at the unit to achieving goals in the area, ensuring that outcomes are analyzed and lead to continuous improvements. You also contribute to well-developed internal and external collaboration.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work, behavioral science, or personnel science, and several years of experience working with labor market issues. You are very familiar with working within social work. The work requires that you have good computer skills and that you are a communicative person with good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. A B-class driver's license is required.

As a person, we see that you are structured and clear in your working methods while being responsive, creative, and contributing to a good work climate. You take initiative, are analytical, and have a good ability to lead and inspire a work group, as well as adapt supervision to experience and competence. You have a well-known good ability to collaborate and experience in developing sustainable and respectful collaboration with internal and external partners.
