Your Responsibilities
We are now looking for a social worker for a project running until 2027-12-31. The project focuses on following and developing the process regarding individuals who have been exposed to violence and placed in emergency housing or other accommodation.
In this role, you work with support and treatment interventions for individuals exposed to or perpetrating violence in close relationships, as well as providing support to children who have witnessed or experienced violence. The work includes individual conversations, group activities, and practical support.
You are responsible for mapping the violence and identifying needs for interventions. The work involves documentation, creating implementation plans, and collaborating with other actors regarding the individual's situation. You work independently but maintain close collaboration with colleagues and operations both within and outside the municipality.
As part of the project, you collaborate closely with the "Violence in Close Relationships" operation within the authority exercise. The role also involves providing consultative support and information to other operations on issues related to intimate partner violence.
We actively work with feedback and development through FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment) as a natural part of the operations.
Your Workplace
You will become part of an experienced and secure work group consisting of eight social workers and a group leader. The group is characterized by an open and supportive climate where colleagues help each other in daily work. We have regular workplace meetings every week and external supervision every other week.
In your work, you collaborate with, among others, Region Östergötland, Women's Shelters, social workers within both the authority and provider operations, as well as other municipalities for experience exchange and development.
The workplace is centrally located in Linköping and is shared with several other operations.
You Who Apply
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another higher education qualification that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious if you have training in psychotherapy level 1.
The position requires experience in supportive and therapeutic conversations. If you have previously worked with violence in close relationships and its consequences, we consider this meritorious. You also need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as be accustomed to documentation and working in digital systems.
We are looking for you who work independently and take responsibility for your tasks while also being good at collaborating and building good relationships with both colleagues and partners. You are sensitive in your communication and contribute to a good collaborative climate.
As a person, you are secure and stable with good self-awareness and the ability to distinguish between the professional and personal in interactions with others. You have a flexible approach, can adapt to changed circumstances, and see opportunities in development and change work.
We also value that you contribute with commitment, energy, and involvement in the work group and the continued development of the operations.
