About the position

Personal assistance is an intervention under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with whatever arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 25-year-old man living in Norrköping. Tasks include, for example, transfers, personal hygiene, household chores, stretching, and various leisure activities. As his personal assistant, you will also be a social support and help with, among other things, inline hockey training and matches, city visits, cinema, etc. He has many interests, including playing inline hockey, traveling, gaming, and film – both watching and the technology behind creating films.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is empathetic, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Non-smoker during working hours

Merits for the position:

• Experience in personal assistance or similar healthcare profession

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approx. 70%. Working hours are scheduled as day shifts with 6 hours of on-call duty during the night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to the collective agreement.

Start date 2026-07-29, but we would appreciate it if you could start an introduction and work as an hourly substitute before then.
