Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. We are looking for someone who is a declared animal lover, is unpretentious, and thrives in an environment with both young people and dogs. You are confident in yourself and have a good ability to read social situations.

"I am a 47-year-old woman living an active life with my husband, our two teenagers, and our two dogs. I have diagnoses of autism and ADHD, which means I need structure and clarity for my everyday life to function. I also have physical disabilities that require assistance with practical tasks and transfers in and out of the home. My two dogs are a central part of my life and a great source of joy. They are important family members, and for us to thrive together, you need to be someone who genuinely likes dogs and is comfortable with them taking up space in the home. In addition to my interest in animals, I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ issues. Therefore, it is a requirement that you share my values regarding inclusion, openness, and equality for all. We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 47-year-old woman living in Linköping

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• genuinely interested in dogs: you have experience with dogs and see it as a positive part of the job

• value-driven: you support the rights of LGBTQIA+ individuals.

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with NPF (autism/ADHD) or physical disabilities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of about 20%. In addition to the scheduled working hours, there is an opportunity to work extra as needed. Working hours vary between day 07:30-13:30 and evening 13:30-20:00, on weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start immediately or according to agreement.
