The Position

We ensure that all residents receive the support they are entitled to. Do you want to brighten everyday life and improve the quality of life for the residents of Linköping? With us, you can make a significant difference and help make Linköping a better place. Welcome to us!
Your Responsibilities
As a group leader, you are responsible for coordinating, leading, and distributing the daily work for the Enhanced Open Care unit. The workgroup at Enhanced Open Care is responsible for providing structured open care interventions to children and young people aged 0-20 and their families. You are responsible for ensuring that treatment processes proceed effectively and correctly. You will also be responsible for case supervision with individual employees and in groups. In the role of group leader, you will hold group meetings, preparedness meetings, and participate in collaboration forums together with other group leaders/managers/senior social workers. You will also participate in intervention forums and be part of the management team. The assignment also includes quality and evaluation responsibilities as well as follow-up of documentation. You report directly to the unit manager, and there are support functions available to assist with various issues.
The families receiving services from Enhanced Open Care have complex needs for social support due to psychosocial difficulties and require flexible and intensive interventions to stabilize and change. The work is carried out solely based on assistance decisions. The interventions are designed and coordinated in close collaboration with the family, which helps provide them with the best possible support and increase motivation for change. Treatment work primarily takes place in the families' home environment to provide support in daily situations as they arise. Your work aims to find and lead the team in flexible solutions that can avoid placements and promote support at home.
Your Workplace
The Social Administration has undergone a significant organizational change this year, with one of the goals being for buyers and providers to work more closely together to meet citizens' needs in a more resource-efficient manner. On October 1, 2024, a new organization came into effect, and Enhanced Open Care was established as one of several provider units within the Department of Children and Youth. Several employees within Enhanced Open Care have previously worked in the Family Unit (Advice and Support). Enhanced Open Care is divided into an IHF team, an open care team, and an MST team (Multisystemic Therapy) with its own method supervisor.
The group has grown over the years and now consists of 21 dedicated colleagues with a mix of ages and extensive experience in the profession, contributing to a safe and supportive work environment.
Working Hours
The working hours for you as a group leader are scheduled during office hours, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours. The placement is centrally located on Ågatan in Linköping. In the fall, we have initiated a pilot project to evaluate standby service. The goal is to develop sustainable working methods that ensure we can meet families' needs for availability and support even outside regular office hours.
