Position as Group Leader within the Social Administration

The position is located within the Social Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering services, and self-management in the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Your Responsibilities

As a group leader, you will have independent responsibility to coordinate, lead, and distribute the daily work for two to three operations. The assignment also includes quality and evaluation responsibility as well as follow-up of documentation. You are a clear and present leader responsible for workplace environment tasks. You report directly to the unit manager, and there are support functions available to assist with various issues. We are looking for someone who wants to lead change and actively develop the operations.

Your Workplace

You will have two to three workgroups with different addresses in Linköping and surrounding areas. You will allocate your time on a weekly basis between the operations in consultation with your manager. Your group leader colleagues also have workplaces around Linköping, but you will have regular meetings for exchange and collaboration. You have a flexible working hours agreement with office hours.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a university degree of at least 180 credits, such as a social worker or behavioral scientist, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have studied social law and have previous experience in social work. It is an advantage if you have prior experience in leadership and personnel responsibility, and if you have worked in a politically governed organization before. Since the position involves a lot of verbal and written communication, you need to have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with journal systems is also desirable.

As a group leader, you need to be confident and results-oriented, have strong self-awareness, and a good ability to see the bigger picture. You lead, motivate, and coordinate groups with the ability to create engagement and participation. As a professional team player, you communicate attentively and resolve conflicts constructively. We are looking for someone who wants to lead change and actively contribute to developing the operations.
