We ensure that all residents receive the support they are entitled to. Do you want to improve the everyday life, future, and quality of life for the residents of Linköping? With us, you can combine important assignments with a meaningful everyday life. Welcome to us!

Your tasks
As a social worker in Enhanced Open Care, you will be part of a team responsible for providing structured open care interventions to children and young people aged 0-20 and their families. The target group has complex needs for social support due to psychosocial difficulties, and the work is carried out based on assistance decisions.

The interventions are designed and coordinated in close collaboration with the family, contributing to providing them with the best possible support and increasing motivation for change. The treatment work primarily takes place in the families' home environment to support them in daily situations as they arise. Your work aims to find flexible solutions that can avoid placements and promote support at home.

In your work, close collaboration with social workers within the authority, other treatment staff, and external actors is crucial to fulfilling this assignment. Therefore, you will work together with other actors in cross-professional teams within the Department of Children and Youth to develop new working methods to meet the demand for flexible home-based solutions. You will also actively participate in developing new working methods to meet the complex needs of the families we encounter, together with the workgroup and immediate management.

Your workplace
The Social Administration has undergone a significant organizational change this year, with one of the goals being for purchasers and providers to work more closely together to meet citizens' needs in a more resource-efficient manner. On October 1, 2024, a new organization came into effect, and Enhanced Open Care was established as one of several service units within the Department of Children and Youth. Employees in Enhanced Open Care have previously worked in the Family Unit (Advice and Support). Enhanced Open Care is divided into an IHF team, an open care team, and an MST team (Multisystemic Therapy) with its own method supervisor. The current position is located in the open care team.

The group has grown over the year and now consists of 22 engaged colleagues with a mix of ages and extensive experience in the profession, contributing to a safe and supportive work environment. We offer supervision and close management.

The working hours for the positions are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexible agreements. This fall, we have initiated a pilot project to evaluate on-call duties. The goal is to develop sustainable working methods that ensure we can meet families' needs for availability and support even outside regular office hours.

The placement is centrally located on Ågatan in Linköping.

Who you are
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent, and experience in family work or treatment work with children and young people and their families. You need to have experience working from a low-arousal approach. Additionally, you should have documentation experience in operational systems and hold a B driver's license for manual transmission.

Desirable qualifications for the position include experience in authority exercise within children and youth, CBT competence, knowledge in Motivational Interviewing (MI), experience with FIT (feedback informed treatment), systems theory, and completed psychotherapy level 1.

As a person, you are collaborative-oriented and can adapt to changes. You have the ability to quickly adjust and think creatively, which allows you to initiate flexible solutions. You work well with others, relate sensitively, and resolve conflicts constructively. Your initiative and independent thinking contribute to starting activities that lead to positive results.
