We are now looking for someone who has a natural talent for working with children. You look beyond the disability and see the individual. You listen, observe, and are inviting so that the boy can develop his interaction with the environment. Therefore, it is important that you master the Swedish language, especially in speech. Here you will have the opportunity to get to know a little boy with the most loving personality!

Furthermore, you should have a positive and imaginative approach to our little boy with cerebral palsy who also has hearing and vision impairments. As his assistant, you will function as support when he needs help with many basic needs. You will be his eyes, ears, hands, and feet.

The tasks also include assistance with PEG, diaper changes, suctioning, mobilization, inhalations, and respiratory support.

Our boy is happy and enjoys nature, play, and sounds. Your involvement means helping him have a good and valuable everyday life despite his limitations and illness.

You who are applying should have previous experience working in healthcare and/or experience working with children. We also prefer that you have worked awake nights before so you understand what it entails. Furthermore, you need to be able to speak, read, and understand Swedish well and be smoke-free.

Position: Part-time, 55% AWAKE night
Working hours: 21:30-07:30
Schedule:
Week 1: Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun
Week 2: Tue
Week 3: Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun
Week 4: Off

EXTRACT FROM THE CRIMINAL RECORD
According to the law on background checks, anyone working with minors must present an extract from the police's crime and suspicion register before employment. The form can be ordered directly from the police's website. The extract must be for work within LSS.
