About the position

We at Olivia Personal Assistance are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant, on-call as needed, for our client in Harvestad, Linköping. The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and awake nights. Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you begin your training immediately.

About the client

The client is an 11-year-old girl with an interest in music, reading books, and going for walks. Our client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has a severe brain injury, epilepsy, and is blind. On weekdays, her assistant is not with her at school but starts their shift there to then take the school taxi home with her.

The tasks are as follows:

• Assist her with all daily care

• Tube feeding, transfers (hoist, wheelchair, shower chair, standing frame)

We are looking for someone who is secure, experienced, and has the willingness and drive to learn. You are attentive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. The client would like you to share her interest in music and enjoy singing. Personal suitability is of great importance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• No strong scents at work

• Non-smoker and free from smoke odor during working hours

Merits:

• Preferably pedagogical experience or education

• Experience working as a personal assistant

• Other care experience

Employment rate: 1 on-call position as needed

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
