Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy while contributing to a smooth daily life.

We are now looking for personal assistants for a man in his 50s living in Mjölby. The position includes hourly employment and summer temporary work during June, July, and August, with the possibility of a working degree of up to 80% during the summer.

We would like you to start as a temporary worker right now and then continue as a summer temporary worker.

The working hours are scheduled between 07:30–00:00, as well as 24-hour shifts from 07:45–07:45 with 7 hours of night duty.

About the customer

Our customer lives with developmental disabilities, autism, and visual impairment (blindness) and needs support in his daily life. He enjoys being outdoors, swimming, and dining out, but also feels comfortable at home where he likes to listen to music and relax.

Once a week, he participates in daily activities. For him, it is important that his daily life is safe, clear, and structured, with activities that contribute to joy and well-being.

As a personal assistant, you support the customer in his daily life. The tasks include, among other things:

• personal care

• support in communication

• cooking and household chores

• planning and implementation of activities

  The work is varied and combines both practical moments and social interaction. You play an important role in creating a meaningful, safe, and functioning daily life for the customer.

We are looking for someone who is committed, attentive, and responsible, has patience, a positive attitude, and humor, and is self-assured and reliable.

It is advantageous if you have experience working with individuals with autism and/or visual impairment, but the most important thing is that you have a genuine desire to make a difference in another person's life.

Previous experience in care and support is an advantage. A driver's license is a requirement, as you will be driving the customer's car during work.

• Employment type: Hourly employment and summer temporary work 80% (June–August)

• Working hours: 07:30–00:00 and 24-hour shifts from 07:45–07:45 with 7 hours of night duty

• Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement

• Other compensations according to collective agreement

Start date: Immediately as a temporary worker.
