Your Responsibilities

The duties of a social worker at the Family Counseling Center involve conducting conversation therapy and counseling for couples and individuals to address relationship and cohabitation difficulties. Family counselors assess, plan, and implement work in collaboration with the couples/individuals and their needs and wishes.

You will provide information and collaborate with care neighbors and others. You will ensure the quality of your work through active use of FIT (Feedback Informed Therapy). In your role, you will also participate in various collaboration forums.

Your Workplace

As a social worker with us, you will be part of a workgroup consisting of four colleagues and a team leader. We have a close and collaborative relationship with each other, and we create good days with the individual(s) in focus. Our operations are conducted in a centrally located facility. We share the premises with three other operations, and the workplace is characterized by a good atmosphere and cooperation. However, our operation has its own waiting room and entrance, and employees have their own rooms for receiving visits.

The workgroup has external supervision.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has a higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent. The position requires experience in social work, and experience working with couple relationships and/or psychotherapy level 1 is an advantage.

As a family counselor, you need to relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. You need to take initiative, be able to start activities, and achieve results.

You possess personal maturity, meaning you are secure, stable, and have self-awareness, distinguishing between the personal and the professional.
