You will work on building good treatment relationships and contribute to ensuring that our young people and clients receive the security and safety they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of engaged colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our young people. As a person, you are confident in yourself and find it easy to build relationships with young people as well as with other staff members. You must also have:

  • A degree or ongoing education from at least a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or university college (KY/YH) with a focus on social/pedagogical treatment work, or a university education that we consider equivalent. Exceptions to the education requirement can be made, but only if there are special reasons*. A special reason could, for example, be long professional experience or other relevant competence.
  • Class B driver's license.
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, e.g., work within psychiatry or LSS care.
  • Experience from client-facing positions at the Prison and Probation Service, e.g., as a Prison Officer.
  • Education within care and welfare.
  • Experience working with children and young people with NPF diagnoses (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and ID (Intellectual Disability).

We want to reward you who are employed on a summer contract; therefore, if you work full-time as a monthly temporary employee for more than four weeks, you will receive a bonus. Read more here (https://www.stat-inst.se/jobba-hos-oss/lediga-jobb/).
