About Us

Risingegården is a residential care facility (HVB) that accepts young women, aged 12 to 20, with psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric issues, self-harm behaviors, trauma from abuse, and risk behaviors related to substance abuse, violence, and criminality. Risingegården provides treatment, outpatient care, and supported housing.

Working with young people is among the most important and rewarding things one can do. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, we are well-established with a good reputation, while maintaining a constant drive to develop and improve. To enhance our own attentiveness and ability for good interaction, all staff are trained in MBT (Mentalization-Based Treatment) and the Guided Interaction/ICDP program.

Hourly Substitute Therapist

We have a continuous need for hourly substitutes throughout the year, although the demand is particularly high during the summer. Therefore, we are looking for someone available for work during the summer. As a substitute therapist, you will help plan and participate in the young people's daily activities, act as support in their daily lives, and work therapeutically based on individual implementation plans and goals. You will also actively work with documentation, such as journaling. Working hours vary, including days, evenings, and weekends, as well as nights with sleeping duty. Awake night shifts may also be required if necessary.

We have three different treatment units: one larger unit with up to six residents, and two smaller units with one or two residents in each unit.

We are looking for a secure and stable person with a positive outlook on life. You should be engaged and attentive with a low-affective approach. Previous experience working with young people is preferred, and you should be a few years older than our residents. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

Educational Requirements

We are looking for someone with an ongoing – or preferably completed – post-secondary education of at least two years, or an education deemed equivalent. Your education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or equivalent, such as treatment pedagogy or social pedagogy.
