The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with many different activities. The clinic consists of outpatient and inpatient care, addiction treatment, as well as an emergency service and our mobile services. You will find our operations in the newly built Tinnerbäckshuset on the hospital grounds and in the garrison area.

Job Description

In the role of social worker, you will support and guide patients and relatives based on the psychosocial and social legal factors that exist. The psychosocial work includes mapping, assessment, conversations, and support from a rehabilitation perspective. The social worker will also act as an expert and, if necessary, guide other staff in psychosocial issues related to, for example, finances and navigation to the right agency within social services. The social worker will, of course, also monitor the child perspective. Introduction with us will be tailored to your needs.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of specialist doctors, nurses, caregivers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators. In addition to your immediate team, you will also belong to a network of colleagues at the clinic.

You will be based at the Psychiatric Reception, Tinnerbäckshuset, but may also meet individuals in other places in the community or at the clinic.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker with work experience in psychiatry, habilitation, or other equivalent social work.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team with other professions. You are independent and confident and can make your own decisions based on your profession but also seek support when needed. You are responsible and focus on the patient's best interests from your professional and empathetic approach. Of course, you also work according to science and proven experience. You also believe that well-being and the social work environment are important for the workplace. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
